Ms. Cigua works as an Administrative Assistant at the Admissions Section. During her time at the University of Embu, she has acquired tangible knowledge of data management and systems. Ms. Eva, therefore, performs duties that regard registration of new and continuing students, capturing students’ biometric data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and activation of student accounts.
Ms. Cigua is an alumnus of Maseno University where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with IT. In line with that, she has received training on conducting feasibility studies for projects, budgeting process, and monitoring & evaluation. In addition, she is a trained protocol officer.
Her tasks and responsibilities include responding to all inquiries made through the office mobile phone, preparing reports on Customer Relations & Complaints, maintaining office files, organizing departmental meetings and taking minutes, integrity champion, website champion and the ISO champion of the Admissions section.
Ms. Eva is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking for continual improvement. She is adept in handling clients, possesses good verbal and written communication skills and a very committed team player.
