Short Biography:
Ms. Mwiti is currently in charge of Admissions and Student Registry at the University of Embu (UoEm). She has more than twelve (12) years of experience in university administration. Before joining UoEm, she worked at Kenyatta University as an Administrative Assistant.
Ms. Mwiti is in charge of coordinating admission and enrollment of students, registration and orientation of students, ensuring students requests are responded to in a timely manner, providing statistics of enrolled students to the University management and UoEm stakeholders, ensuring protection and integrity of the students' records, policy formulation, and marketing of university programmes.
She holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Library in Information Science at Kenyatta University. She is a trained and well experienced in the areas of customer care, Implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems. Ms. Mwiti has also served in several University Committees such as the University Service Charter Committee, ISO Certification Committee, Charter Award Committee, Customer Relations, and Complaints Resolution Committee, Registration, and Records Committee among others.

Ms. Mwiti is passionate about service to students and other University stakeholders.
